Procuring hoses individually in one-off contracts is a repetitive task which the procurement and related engineering support team can become quite good at it. However, one question arises, is that the best use of such resources? One of the ways to alleviate the burden of procurement is the establishment of framework agreements. By understanding the processes and function of a procurement strategy it becomes easy to see why it could be the better option for obtaining hoses.
