German hose manufacturer Tristone Flowtech Group has completed an expansion project and broken ground on a new plant in Walbrzych, District Lower Silecia, Poland. The €3M expansion program, which aimed at expanding production area and new machinery, started in April 2018 and was completed in June. A central engineering laboratory has also been in operation since February.
The company is now investing €7.4M in a new 6.200-square-meter manufacturing and logistic space to double the site’s hose production capacity in the coming year. Currently employing 700 people in Poland, Tristone expects to expand the number of its staff by 200 in the next two years.
The Polish plant produces engine and battery cooling hoses, automated engine cooling hoses, wrapped hoses as well as single layer and multi-layer plastic pipes.
