Trelleborg takes full ownership of Max Seal

Max Seal, Trelleborg’s Industrial Solutions joint venture, is now fully owned by the company. Trelleborg said in a new release that they have acquired the remaining 49 per cent of the shares from Max Seal, and will now be fully owned by them.

The company’s 130 employees will become a part of the Trelleborg’s seals and profiles operations.

The company produces watertight seals for plastic and double corrugated wall pipe systems for water and wastewater from its facility based out of Tijuana. The companies Trelleborg and Max Seal have been producing sealing systems since 2014.

The business unit president of Trelleborg, Magnus Andersson, said that the take-over will help the company serve its regional customers better and drive greater efficiencies.
