Tekni-Plex China, a manufacturer of tubing solutions for the medical, pharmaceutical, personal care, household & industrial, and food & beverage markets, will show its latest solutions for drug delivery and intravenous therapy at Medtec China, Sept. 25-27 in Shanghai.
“Precision extruded silicone, thermoplastic and thermoplastic elastomer tubing is critical for the most advanced medical devices,” said Michael Luo, general manager for Tekni-Plex China. “The China medical market is growing rapidly and sourcing high tolerance tubing from local suppliers is increasingly important.”
Promoted products will include silicone tubing used for patient-controlled analgesia pumps and peristaltic pumps for IV therapy. The company also will present melt-extruded tubing used for endovascular and other IV applications, including recently developed three-layer PEBA/bond/PE tubing for rapid-exchange balloon catheters. Radiopague striped thermoplastic polyurethane used for IV cannulas also will be promoted.
