NewAge® Industries’ Nylobrade hose, a product with over 65 years of dependability, is now made without the use of phthalates. This hose addresses concerns about DEHP, BPA and other potentially hazardous substances.
Phthalates – chemicals used to make plastics easier to process and more pliable – can be found in a number of different plastic materials. However, some studies have indicated that certain phthalates, and specifically DEHP (Di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate), could potentially have a negative health impact.
Nylobrade is made without phthalates or BPA (bisphenol A). Its raw materials meet California Proposition 65 and conform to USP Class VI and FDA standards. Nylobrade is listed by the National Sanitation Foundation for food equipment materials (NSF-51) and potable water (NSF-61), and it’s also REACH and RoHS compliant.
