MRC wins Shell Prelude FLNG project offshore Australia

MRC Global Australia PTY Ltd., a subsidiary of MRC Global Inc., recently announced it has signed a five year supply agreement with Shell Australia to provide MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) requirements for its Prelude floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) project.

MRC Global will consolidate over 197 suppliers into one supply contract covering the procurement and inventory of all pipes, valves, fittings, hoses, studs, nuts, gaskets and spare parts. This includes the provision of full technical support, quality assurance, expedition and distribution solutions.
