Through September 2022, the Department of Commerce reported that construction spending is more than 11% higher than the 2021 year-to-date figures, with residential, commercial, and manufacturing construction leading the way. Construction projects utilize a variety of flexible hoses to convey air, steam, water, sandblast, paints, coatings, and many other products used during private and commercial development. While most of these applications allow the use of rubber or plastic hose, there are certain processes where flexible metal hose and expansion joints offer superior performance attributes.
