Kuriyama, a manufacturer of thermoplastic hoses and accessories, has launched a new brewery hose for suction and discharge The product, the Kuriyama T422LH Series hose, effectively handles liquid food and alcoholic beverage with up to 95 proof. This hose is also lightweight, durable, and versatile for several suction and discharge applications.
The hose itself consists of a tube that is constructed from white chlotobutyl meeting 3A (18-03) and FDA requirements. The design is also reinforced with high tensile textile cords with specifically embedded helix wires. The cover of this brewery hose is NR/EPDM blend for abrasion and ozone resistance.
The Kuriyama T422LH is incredibly flexible and ideal for working in tight spaces. It is also 25% lighter than similar rubber hoses, while still maintaining 150 PSI working pressure. This product can handle +226°F (+108°C) on a continuous basis. The T422LH will also not impart odor or taste. The product’s smooth cover is designed for easy cleaning, with no gaps or crevices present for bacterial hiding.
