With a focus on the food and beverage industry, Continental recently introduced the Legacy line of industrial hose to the North American market and distributors attending the National Association for Hose and Accessories Distribution (NAHAD) conference.
Included in the Legacy line are seven product hoses and a water-saving nozzle that will complement the current portfolio of ContiTech NAFTA division that is part of global technology company Continental. “This is an extension of our growth plans,” said Randy Kish, Manager, distributor marketing for Continental’s industrial hose & hydraulics business, “And these products, along with our existing lines, will give our distributors and their customers a more complete offering of food and beverage hoses.”
The Legacy line hoses are Aquapal, for potable water applications; Purple Snake, a brewery hose; Collector, for dairy processing; Conti Chem Superior FEP, for most chemicals; DAMPF Trix 6000, a steam hose; Laptopal, for food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics; Unitrix 60 and 80, resistant to oil, UV, grease and chemicals; And the Dinga water saving nozzle.
