According to parent company Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology, Aflex hose began construction on a new factory in Huddersfield. The construction project is valued at £20 million and is supposed to increase the company’s production capacity by 70%. The project is expected to bring about 200 jobs within the next 10 years.

This investment also demonstrates our commitment to creating new and long-term employment opportunities in one of Britain’s most advanced technology businesses,” said David Cole, managing director of Aflex Hose.
The groundbreaking ceremony took place in Huddersfield, UK, at the Bradley Business Park.
Aflex Hose produces a line of PTFE flexible hose products, which is used throughout the globe by food and drink manufacturers, and automotive and pharmaceuticals.
